Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking a Project Engineer for an assignment located in East Cork (Oil & Gas). This is initially a 12 month contract with high potential to run past this duration.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all project activities adhere to health and safety regulations and industry standards.Oversee and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement project plans.Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project challenges.Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the project team.RequirementsDegree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Construction.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in heavy civil engineering or related fields.Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.Previous experience in Oil & Gas industry a bonus but not essential.Experience with document-heavy projects and the ability to manage extensive documentation.Previous experience working within an ATEX environment highly beneficialWhy Join Arcadis?At Arcadis, we empower individuals to excel because your contributions matter.
