Van Sales Driver Contract : Permanent Full Time Aurivo is a large multi-purpose co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, garden centres, livestock marketing as well as sports nutrition It employs over 700 people directly and provides jobs for many others in transport, distribution and services.
Opportunity : The suitable person will be responsible for selling, delivering, merchandising, and reconciling stock while providing strong customer service and will report directly to the Area Sales Manager.
Responsibilities: Selling and delivering of product to all customers in the area covered by your sales route Merchandising Goods where appropriate Completion of all documentation related to your sales invoices, returns documentation etc. as instructed by your Manager Responsible for all the transactions Full responsibility and accountability for all products carried on the vehicle or sold on the round and responsible for the reconciliation of stocks and sales at the end of each day Report on sales trends and competitor activity, canvass new business and to advise on any particular customer or debtor problems Strong customer focus and strive increase sales including involvement in promotions as and when required Adhere to all administrative procedures relative to the position of Van Sales.
Co-operate with any technological changes whether in the area of administrative procedures, laws relating to driving, or otherwise, or any relevant information concerning daily mileage, fuel consumption etc Candidate Profile: Flexible and adaptable Van will be provided and full clean C driving licence is necessary Any experience in the retail and grocery industry along with van sales or multi drop deliveries would be very helpful but not essential Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills.
