The AWS Brick and Network Deployment (Ba ND) team is searching for a passionate and talented technical program manager to deliver Data Center Network across multiple AWS clusters in EMEA and drive process development and automation.
You will assess the demand requirements along with available network resources to determine and drive prime solutions for our customers.
You will work with stakeholders to complete pre-requisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity and automate shared processes.
You will lead programs with goals to improve infrastructure resource utilization and availability.
You will work with teams across the AWS Organization to effectively plan and deliver data center capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor the network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management) to define requirements and processes.
Work with stakeholders (networking engineers/Datacenter technicians/Supply Chain) to ensure on-time delivery of critical datacenter capacity.
Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
End to end responsibility for the program's execution and success.
Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role.
Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.
Basic Qualifications
Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLook Ups) at an advanced level and SQL.
Experience working in large-scale networking environments and experience leading complex programs with significant change impact across organizational boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e.
network, data center, hardware, software).
Excellent written composition and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
