Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational success of a retail store. This includes managing employee performance, finances, and stock control to ensure profitability and high customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee store operations, including rostering, employee cover, and supply chain management
* Work with senior management to achieve business goals and improve operational efficiency
* Ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis, and address any discrepancies promptly
* Maintain effective overheads control and ensure store profitability
* Manage merchandising, promotions, and stock rotation to drive sales and reduce waste
* Foster excellent customer relationships and handle complaints professionally
* Conduct regular stock takes, maintain inventory accuracy, and operate within relevant health and safety legislation
