Contract Technical Recruiter – Software & ITOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to provide hands-on hiring support across software engineering and IT roles. This is a contract engagement, suited to someone who can operate at pace, embed quickly, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving environment. The role requires a balance of remote working and 1–2 days onsite per week.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end recruitment delivery across software engineering and IT positions.Hiring for roles including backend, frontend, full-stack, cloud, data, DevOps, infrastructure, and broader IT functions.Partnering closely with hiring managers to define requirements, timelines, and priorities.Building and managing candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, and market mapping.Conducting initial screening interviews, technical qualification, and candidate assessment.Managing candidates through interview processes, feedback, offers, and onboarding.Ensuring a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.Maintaining accurate data and reporting across ATS and recruitment tools.Experience & SkillsProven experience recruiting for software engineering and IT roles in a contract or in-house capacity.Strong technical market knowledge and the ability to qualify technical skillsets confidently.Demonstrated success sourcing hard-to-find technical talent.Comfortable working in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and deliver against agreed hiring plans.Working PatternContract role, 6–12 months. (opportunity to convert to a permanent position.)Hybrid working model, 1–2 days onsite per week.
