Office Administrator / Receptionist

Paul O Connor Cars is a well-established and busy car dealership based in Dungarvan. We are currently looking to recruit an Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business.
This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, friendly, and comfortable handling multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Front-of-house reception duties, including greeting customers and answering phone calls
* Managing vehicle paperwork such as:
* Vehicle registration certificates (log books)
* Change of ownership documentation
* Sales and purchase administration
* Booking and managing NCT and VRT appointments
* Updating and maintaining records on our Pinewood Dealer Management System
* Invoicing, filing, scanning, and general office administration
* Assisting the Office Manager with day-to-day tasks as required
* Liaising with customers, suppliers, and external agencies
* Ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and filed correctly
* Supporting sales and aftersales administration when required
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in an office administration or receptionist role (motor trade experience an advantage but not essential)
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Confident using computers and office software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High attention to detail and a professional attitude
