About the Role
Our client is a growing professional services firm who are seeking a highly experienced Indirect Tax Director to lead their Indirect Tax team.
About the Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing indirect tax expertise to a broad portfolio of domestic and international clients alongside working with senior management to grow and develop the indirect tax services within the firm.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager ready to advance in their career or a Director looking to make their mark and shape the firm's future.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver indirect tax advice to clients across a range of sectors considering their tax strategies and planning.
* Ensure indirect tax advice is delivered in line with tax laws and regulations.
* Drive the growth of the indirect tax service offering through identifying business development opportunities.
* Optimise indirect tax process alongside driving process improvements to ensure efficient and accurate deliverable.
* Expand and develop the indirect tax team to strengthen their knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
* 7+ years of relevant experience in Indirect Tax.
* Technical knowledge and experience in VAT.
* Proven managerial experience alongside the ability to identify and drive business development opportunities.
