We're seeking a dedicated Accommodation Assistant to help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and comfortable stay.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
* Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained according to the daily schedule and departmental procedures.
* Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or lost property immediately to the supervisor.
* Handle guest requests promptly and professionally, maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude at all times.
* Follow health and safety, fire safety, and security procedures in all tasks.
* Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and materials.
* Maintain linen and cleaning supply stocks, ensuring trolleys are clean and well-organised.
* Support the accommodation team and contribute to a positive working environment.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
* Ability to work efficiently and independently or as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
