Eliza Lodge Nursing Home are currently seeking a Full Time or Part Time Night Nurse to join the team.

Role: Senior Staff Nurse
Accountable To: Director of Nursing
Reports To: CNM
Function
The Post holders will work within the nursing home environment providing person centered nursing care and support to residents and their relatives. To promote a caring environment for residents through high standards of professional practice which are conductive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the Residents of the Home.
Main Activities
* Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards and guidelines based on legislation, evidence-based nursing practice and NMBI guidelines for conduct and professional practice.
* Assess care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of care plans.
* Adhere to the Medicines Management Code and NMBI Standards for the safe keeping and administration of medication.
* Maintain accurate and thorough care records
* To communicate effectively with residents, staff and relatives.
* To provide support to colleagues by leading by example, motivating and guiding their colleagues in the administration of care.
Required:
* Must be Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
* Have at least 6 months post-qualification experience,
* Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a nursing home or similar environment
