About the Role
Our organisation seeks a highly skilled Architectural Technician to fill a key position.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create detailed technical drawings and plans using Computer-Aided Design software.
* Prepare production information, including working drawings and schedules for construction projects.
* Conduct site surveys, collect data and analyse factors affecting architectural designs.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, by-laws and planning regulations.
* Select appropriate materials meeting design criteria.
* Collaborate with architects and clients on design development and resolving structural issues.
* Inspect completed work to ensure alignment with design specifications.
* Manage project aspects such as contract bidding and progress tracking.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required skills include proficiency in CAD software, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and project management skills. A degree in architecture or related field is necessary along with relevant work experience.
