Summary

Embarc on a new journey by joining the up-and-coming fabulous Alila Mayakoba, the first Alila in Latin America. We are looking for an Assistant Director of F&B to oversee and direct our Restaurants, In-Room Dining, and any other Food or Beverage related areas operated by Hyatt.

* Assist in the direction of all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, with a focus on excellence, innovation, and guest satisfaction.
* Ensure consistent service standards across all outlets and events, aligned with the Alila brand and luxury service expectations.
* Collaborate with the culinary, stewardship, beverage, and service teams to enhance product offerings, drive creativity, and maintain operational excellence.
* Monitor guest feedback and implement service recovery and improvement strategies as needed.
* Support the Director of Culinary and Guest Experiences with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance metrics.
* Coach, mentor, and inspire Food and Beverage leaders and colleagues to cultivate a motivated, high-performing team.
* Collaborate with Sales and Events to ensure the smooth execution of banquets, conferences, and private events.

Qualifications

* The ideal candidate with have 3+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience within Food and Beverage
* Candidates will have the ability to lead and manage the guest experience throughout all hotel operations.
* Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
* Proven leadership skills
* Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
* Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
* Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
