Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, installation, and improvement tasks across the facility. This role supports day-to-day machinery upkeep as well as ad hoc projects assigned by management to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance
* Perform general facility repairs involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
* Conduct inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needs across the site.
* Support contractors and vendors when specialized services are required.
Machinery Maintenance
* Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
* Install, adjust, or replace components such as belts, motors, bearings, sensors, and wiring.
* Maintain accurate maintenance logs and update service/reporting systems.
Ad Hoc Projects
* Support one-off or short-term maintenance tasks as assigned (equipment moves, small fabrications, facility upgrades, layout changes, etc.).
* Assist with the setup, installation, and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
* Build, modify, or repair fixtures, racks, jigs, and other operational tools.
* Participate in continuous improvement, productivity, and safety projects.
Safety & Compliance
* Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company policies.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents promptly.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in industrial or facility maintenance (2+ years preferred).
* Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical experience is a plus.
* Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
* Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing tasks.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment & Schedule
* Full-time position; may require occasional overtime, weekend, or on-call work depending on operational needs.
* Hands-on role in a manufacturing or facility setting, involving physical tasks and interaction with machinery.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Pay: €32,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
