Hotel Operations Manager Opportunity
A challenging and dynamic role has arisen for an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join a team in Dublin during the peak Christmas period.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotel operations, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and guest service abilities are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day hotel operations during peak seasonal demand
* Support front-of-house, housekeeping, and night teams to deliver exceptional service
* Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, room moves, and complaints efficiently
* Conduct property walks, safety checks, and incident reporting to maintain high standards of service and presentation
* Handle cash procedures, shift reports, and operational handovers professionally
* Act as the main decision-maker when senior management is not on-site
Requirements:
* Previous hotel or hospitality operations experience
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and guest service abilities
* Calm, organised approach during high-volume periods
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and festive-season shifts
* Experience with Mews PMS or First Aid/Fire Marshal training is an advantage
This is a temporary assignment with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
