Key Responsibilities
Understand the design and construction methodologies that relate to the project's Temporary and permanent services.
Project Delivery & Site Management
Lead the execution of permanent services.
Lead, install and maintain temporary services for the construction of the project.
Oversee daily site activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of works.
Project Controls
Ensure Site performance and Cost control
Maintain and report cost
Maintain and report production performance
Ensure management of works to budget
Planning & Coordination
Develop and maintain detailedwork programmes, short-term lookaheads, and resource plans.
Liaise with airport operations teams to manage access, logistics, and operational constraints.
Ensure works are sequenced to minimize disruption to airport operations and comply with security protocols.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure all structural works meet design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct inspections and quality checks and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress.
Health & Safety
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site.
Ensure compliance with airport safety regulations, project-specific safety plans, and statutory requirements.
Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident investigations.
Team Leadership & Reporting
Manage and mentor site engineers, foremen, and other site staff.
Report progress, risks, and issues to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
Collaborate with design, planning, and commercial teams to resolve technical and programme challenges.
Temporary Works
Ensure compliance as temporary works coordinator

Essential criteria
Legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland
Willingness to complete a 5-year background screening as part of the hiring process
Degree in Industrial, Mechanical and Electrical Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP works with at least 3 years in a senior site role.
Proven experience in airport or high-security infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of structural construction methods, temporary works, and sequencing.
Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
Valid Safe Pass and relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, Manual Handling, Temporary Works Coordinator).
Desirable criteria
Membership of a related professional body e.g. Chartered Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE),
