The role involves managing mechanical contracts, overseeing cost control and project budgets, preparing payment applications, and maintaining detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will collaborate closely with project teams and clients to ensure efficient and accurate administration of contracts while meeting project goals and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage M&E cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.Conduct tender analysis and support subcontractor procurement for M&E packages.Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations to ensure accurate financial tracking.Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align commercial and technical requirements.Prepare interim and final accounts, including cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.Assess and manage M&E subcontractor accounts and applications for payment.Identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities across the M&E scope.Ensure compliance with contract terms, procurement frameworks, and client requirements.Support cost reporting and commercial strategy at project review meetings.Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.QualificationsProficiency in Mechanical Engineering and MaintenanceExperience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) toolsKnowledge of Inspection processes and methodologiesFamiliarity with the Automotive sector and its mechanical systemsStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAttention to detail and commitment to quality and safetyBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field, or a Craft QualificationPrevious experience in a similar role is an advantageBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceDefined pension contribution planCompany vehicle or travel allowanceCareer development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environment
