Job Title: Speech & Language Therapist (ADOS-2 / ADI-R) - Dublin
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Role: Permanent
Salary: 35,000 - 85,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland.
They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, including expert witness assessments for courts, parole boards, criminal and family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. They have a proven track record with HSE / NHS contracts.
The Role:
This is an exciting role within a busy service, providing assessments to families and adults. It is a hybrid or remote role for qualified clinicians in the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for children referred for autism and/or ADHD assessments via HSE / NHS.
Some tasks may be performed remotely. Multiple roles are available, including senior positions, both remote and hybrid. Hybrid candidates must be able to travel to Dublin locations.
The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD, using established tools. Mental health assessments may also be required. Assessments are conducted on behalf of HSE / NHS via GP referral.
The clinician will prepare assessment reports, provide recommendations, and may supervise junior staff depending on experience.
Qualifications:
CORU / HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
Must be eligible to work in Ireland
Experience with diagnostic assessments for neurodevelopmental disorders in children and young people
Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental or mental health issues in a clinical setting
Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and assessment tools for autism and ADHD
Knowledge of differential diagnosis
Ideally trained in ADOS-2 / ADI-R
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Experience in report writing and record keeping
Additional qualifications in autism and/or ADHD are desirable
Clinical supervision is an integral part of the role
