Company Overview:
Seeking a contract BIM / CAD Technician to join the Drawing Office Team within the Asset Lifecycle Team. This role supports various capital and expense projects involving Manufacturing, Labs, Process, Utilities, and Automation/IT (AIT) systems. Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, the BIM / CAD Technician will maintain engineering drawings and vendor turnover packs, utilizing AutoCAD, Vault, Maximo, and Building Information Modelling (BIM) systems, including AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. The position provides exposure to project managers and involves contributing to the transformation of our site into a best-in-class Biopharmaceutical facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain engineering drawings and vendor turnover packs.
* Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project execution.
* Utilize AutoCAD (minimum 2 years’ experience required).
* Apply Revit and Navisworks (minimum 2 years’ experience required).
* Work with AutoCAD Construction Cloud (preferable).
* Use Plant 3D and Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferable).
* Operate CMMS systems, ideally Maximo (preferable).
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required:
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
* Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experience with implementation and project closeout.
* Proven ability to effectively manage stakeholders.
* Biologic Manufacturing site experience (desirable).
