Job Role:
This role involves working on plant maintenance and large-scale project improvement.
* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Responsible for a specific plant process area
* Ensuring preventative and predictive maintenance is completed
* Planning major shutdowns/overhauls
* Managing contractors on projects
* Improving plant availability, troubleshooting maintenance issues
* Enhancing safety and environmental standards
* Scoping projects that increase business returns
* Constructing and installing new projects
* Commissioning and handing over
The ideal candidate should possess:
* A Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent
* Knowledge of Health and Safety in heavy industry
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
* Proven technical skills and strong commercial acumen
* Strong IT skills (MS Office, Autocad)
* Attention to detail and capability to work independently
* A history of contributing to previous employer performance
