As a
Process Engineer
, you'll play a key role in developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes for both new and existing products, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and optimize manufacturing processes using
Design of Experiments (DOE)
and other analytical tools.
* Provide technical input for
new product introduction
, focusing on design for manufacturability, assembly, and cost.
* Lead or support
validation activities
(IQ, OQ, PQ) for equipment and processes.
* Troubleshoot process or equipment issues, perform
root cause analysis
, and implement corrective actions.
* Design and specify
tooling, jigs, and fixtures
to support production needs.
* Develop and maintain
work instructions
,
standard operating procedures
, and
process documentation
.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, maintenance, and quality.
* Ensure compliance with
health, safety, and environmental standards
.
* Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians.
What You'll Bring
* Degree in
Manufacturing, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Plastics Engineering
(or equivalent).
* Minimum
3 years' experience
in a
process or manufacturing engineering
role within a high-volume environment — ideally in
medical devices
or other regulated industries.
* Strong understanding of
automation, ultrasonic welding
, and process development techniques.
* Proficient in
Microsoft Office
; experience with
AutoCAD or 3D design software
an advantage.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive, organized approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
