A well-established international organisation is looking to add an experienced Accounting Technician to its Finance team. This is a varied, hands-on role working closely with the Head of Finance and offers strong scope for development and progression over time.
The role
* Manage banking and treasury activities including reconciliations, payments and account set-ups
* Monitor daily cash balances and assist with cashflow planning and forecasting
* Prepare annual cashflow budgets and ongoing forecasts
* Take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function - direct debits, statements and collections
* Liaise with internal departments and external partners
* Issue invoices and settlement documentation
* Post transactions to the accounting system on a daily basis
* Assist with the annual audit
* Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain internal controls
* Provide general finance and administrative support when required
About you
* Accounting Technician qualification (or similar)
* At least 5 years' experience in a similar accounting position
* Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
* Comfortable working to deadlines and managing your own workload
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Strong MS Office and accounting systems experience
* Practical, organised and proactive approach
