Job Title: Care and Development Manager
About This Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Care and Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the growth and management of a team of motivated and compassionate carers in their assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage carer onboarding, rosters, training, and overall carer welfare with support from the Regional Manager and Platinum Support Office.
* Deliver Platinum 20-hour Carer Induction Training to ensure carers are prepared and trained in advance of providing care to clients in their assigned area.
* Monitor daily activities using One Touch Care Management software, emphasizing safeguarding and compliance at every level.
* Take necessary actions and escalate as needed.
* Communicate closely with the Support Office regarding scheduling, client care, and HSE communication using One Touch Care Management Software.
* Identify, monitor, and manage training needs within the team by implementing a career development path aligned with the HR strategy.
* Conduct Client Quality Assurance reviews and record them in line with Platinum Homecare and HSE Standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (or higher)
* 3-5 years' experience in Home Care or Community Care Sector in a Supervisory or Management role
* Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is preferable
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Well organized and process driven
