This position is a permanent contract for Monaghan and surrounding counties
We are hiring for a great opportunity within our Retinal Technicians team in Monaghan and surrounding areas. The role involves Eye Photography, used to identify damage to the retina caused by complications of Diabetes. Experience is not essential, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to enter healthcare or for someone already in healthcare wanting to develop their skillset. We have a professional team that will support you every step of the way towards becoming a specialist in this space.
Our Team
You’ll be part of the national programme, working alongside our Senior Diabetic Retinal Technicians and Team Leaders, supported by the administration team, programme manager, and clinical lead. All team members are or are becoming subject matter experts in Retinopathy, ensuring you will have the support you need.
Qualifications
We want to ensure you're set for success, so here are the key skills we’re looking for:
* Experience is not required
* A Full Clean Irish driver’s license and a safe place to store the company vehicle
* A passion for customer care and positive patient outcomes
* IT literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, and regular use of Microsoft Office
* Initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
* A great work ethic and proactive approach, as you’ll be largely unsupervised after initial training
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
