Qualifications and Requirements
* A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level is essential, or relevant schedule 3 qualification as listed on CORUs website.
* At least 6 months recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs.
* Proof of successful registration with CORU as a Social Care Worker or proof of application in progress with CORU.
* Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector.
* Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism.
* Proven ability to work on own initiative.
* Proven experience in the implementation and development of support/care plans and PCPs.
* Places the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities.
* Delivers support according to the person's PCP and care plan.
* Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
* Full, clean drivers licence (manual) essential.
