Product Owner - Finance Systems Location: Cork or Dublin (Hybrid) Type: Permanent Salary: €75,000 - €85,000 base + benefits (market estimate for senior PO roles with budget/vendor management in finance/retail) Opportunity A major Irish group is seeking an experienced Product Owner to manage Finance IT systems and applications across corporate functions.
This role combines strategy, delivery, and vendor management, leading a small team and partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-value technology solutions at pace.
Responsibilities Manage Finance IT product roadmap, upgrades, and patching.
Lead a team of BAs/Technical Analysts; mentor and develop.
Oversee vendors, contracts, and delivery partners.
Plan and track budgets, costs, and project timelines.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Drive project delivery and handover to BAU support.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and innovations.
Requirements IT-related degree.
5+ years' experience in BA and/or Product Ownership.
5+ years in IT Project/Programme Delivery.
Proven experience with budgets, vendors, and hybrid delivery teams.
Strong skills in requirements analysis, SDLC, QA, and info security.
Track record of delivering enterprise products to market.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
