Production Equipment UC is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 80,000 products to customers across Europe.
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Project Administrator to support and coordinate a range of IT projects, including the deployment and implementation of industrial vending solutions. This role involves working closely with customers, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure the smooth planning, execution, and delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and strong communication skills to bridge the gap between customer requirements and IT implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering IT-related projects, with a focus on industrial vending solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and the IT team, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Support project managers in tracking project milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to solution design and implementation planning.
- Coordinate hardware and software installations, configurations, and testing activities.
- Document project activities, including requirements gathering, implementation steps, and post-deployment reviews.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on progress, timelines, and any issues encountered.
- Support post-implementation activities such as troubleshooting, user training, and documentation.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience with industrial vending systems or similar technology solutions.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a project coordination or IT support/admin role.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, or hardware deployments – particularly relevant to industrial equipment or vending solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with both technical teams and customers.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Jira).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations and project work (as required).
