Description

* Based in Harold’s Cross, Blackrock Hospice, or Wicklow Hospice
The Senior Dietitian will:
* Provide a specialist dietetic service specifically for clients of Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services in the areas of palliative care and/or care of the older person.
* Be a resource and provide expert opinion, advice, and guidance to dietetic colleagues and other healthcare professionals within these areas.
* Be part of the OLH&CS Dietetic department and will be supported by the dietetic manager and team across all OLH&CS sites.
Qualifications:
* Hold a qualification recognised by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU or a comparable qualification.
* Maintain live annual registration on the Dietitians Register maintained by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.
* Full driving license.
Experience:
* At least three years of relevant Senior Dietitian grade experience.
* Clinical experience in the management of Enteral Nutrition.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Additional Qualifications and Experience:
* Postgraduate education in a dietetic or healthcare-related topic.
* Clinical experience in the management of Parenteral Nutrition.
* Relevant previous dietetic experience in areas such as care of the older person or services for people with life-limiting conditions.
* Previous research or clinical audit related to palliative care or care of the older person.
