Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist
This role focuses on maintaining a clean and organized store environment, working with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, and verifying incoming parts for damage or missing items.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining Store Environment: Ensure stores are well-organized and tidy, adhering to safety standards.
* Supplier Collaboration: Work directly with suppliers to place orders, address delivery or invoice concerns, and optimize the supply chain.
* Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods; process goods receipts and store items safely.
* Returns and Warranty Claims: Manage returns of damaged or faulty items, including warranty claims and resolving customer grievances.
* Part Requests and Orders: Process part requests, place orders with suppliers, and track parts sent for repair.
* Stock Monitoring: Carry out daily cycle counts, maintain accurate stock records, and monitor stock levels using Min/Max settings.
* Delivery Tracking: Track urgent or overdue deliveries with suppliers, ensuring timely receipt of essential parts.
* Cost Optimization: Identify and resource alternative parts to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
* Cost Savings Record: Document all cost savings achieved through efficient inventory management practices.
* Warehouse Optimization: Optimize warehouse layout for safe and efficient storage, improving overall productivity.
