Description
Ryanair is currently recruiting for the Safety Manager – Engineering to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.
This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we aim to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300 million guests per year within the next 10 years.
Reporting to the Safety Manager, the successful candidate will be based in Dublin and will be responsible for the Engineering Safety Department activities across the Ryanair network, ensuring compliance with EASA Regulations and Company Procedures.
Responsibilities
1. Attend regular Safety and Security Meetings.
2. Conduct risk analysis and assess the effectiveness of actions taken.
3. Initiate and follow-up on safety occurrences, incidents, and accident investigations.
4. Provide Ryanair management with independent advice on safety matters and produce safety performance reports as needed.
5. Represent Ryanair at EASA activities, UKFSC, and other external meetings as directed by the Director of Safety & Security.
6. Assist the Safety Manager in developing, delivering, and distributing safety training to personnel with safety responsibilities, ensuring training standards are met.
Requirements
1. A relevant engineering degree, aircraft maintenance technician qualification, or 5 years’ experience in maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness management.
2. Knowledge of EASA regulations related to Part 145, EU Ops, Part M, Part CAMO, and Part 147.
3. Safety management experience is advantageous.
4. Operational experience related to the organization’s activities.
5. Experience working with management systems.
6. Supervisory experience is beneficial.
7. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

2. Knowledge of maintenance methods.

5. Proficiency in MS Office.
