You will combine technical authority with commercial awareness, managing projects from early concept through construction and handover. The role involves close collaboration with Directors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams, as well as the mentorship and development of engineers within the practice.You will be entrusted with decision-making responsibility across engineering design, programme delivery, cost control, and client management, while representing CS Consulting at a senior professional level.Candidate ProfileMasters or Honours degree in Structural Engineering (or equivalent)Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland and/or IStructEAt least 10 years' post-qualification experience in a consulting engineering environmentProven experience delivering complex structural projects with significant responsibilityStrong conceptual and detailed design capability across multiple structural materials, e.g. concrete, steel, masonry, timber, etc.Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, ETABS or equivalent)Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD in a coordinated BIM environmentHigh level of competence in Microsoft Office and project planning toolsDemonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement on complex technical and commercial mattersStrong leadership and people-management skills within multidisciplinary teamsSound commercial awareness with experience managing project finances and client relationshipsAdaptable, solutions-focused mindset with a proactive and professional approachFull Drivers Licence desirableWhat CS Consulting OffersWe are a forward-thinking consultancy that values technical excellence, collaboration, and professional integrity, providing our staff with genuine opportunities to shape projects, develop leadership capability, and progress their careers.
