Excel Recruitment is seeking a number of reliable and detail-oriented Operations Assistants to join our Ecommerce Team in the run up to Christmas. The role involves processing jewellery orders with precision and care. You will work in a secure, fast-paced environment where attention to detail is crucial, especially when handling delicate items. Accuracy and responsibility in fulfilling orders are key to ensuring a smooth customer experience. This is a 6-week full time contract with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform quality checks on jewellery pieces before shipping to ensure they meet standards
2. Process orders using warehouse management systems and fulfilment software
3. Label and prepare parcels for courier dispatch, adhering to packaging guidelines
4. Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low inventory
5. Assist in stock replenishment and regular inventory counts
6. Maintain cleanliness and organisation at all times
7. Follow all health, safety, and security procedures, particularly in handling valuable items
8. Collaborate with Customer Service team
9. Handle returns within company guidelines
10. Any adhoc duties as requested by management
Key Skills & Attributes:
11. Excellent attention to detail
12. Good numeracy and literacy skills
13. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
14. Prior experience in a retail operations environment preferrable
15. Physically fit and able to be on your feet for extended periods
16. Available to work weekends when required
17. Available to work full time with no restrictions
