We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of construction and civils projects across a range of disciplines. This role is suited to someone with strong technical ability, solid site experience, and a commitment to high standards in safety, quality, and documentation.
Role Overview
The Senior Engineer will work closely with Project Managers and Senior Site Agents to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to specification. You will provide technical support on site, assist in managing resources, and help guide Junior Engineers in their development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and Senior Site Agents
Support Junior Engineers with site surveying, setting out, and technical queries
Assist in managing plant, materials, and equipment on site
Ensure all works are completed to the required quality standards
Maintain accurate site diaries and project documentation
Attend site meetings and help resolve issues as they arise
Promote and uphold Health & Safety standards across the site
Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders when required
Candidate Requirements
Full, clean driver's licence
Relevant engineering qualification
Experience supporting and mentoring Junior Engineers
Background in civils, drainage, or utilities (water/electricity)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational and time‑management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
