Barden are working with a leading health & financial services organisation in Cork who are looking to appoint a Third Party Risk Management Specialist to join their Finance & Compliance team. This business is well established, highly regulated, and recognised for putting customer experience at the centre of what they do.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of centralised third party risk management processes, ensuring suppliers are onboarded, monitored, and offboarded in line with regulatory and internal standards. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Finance, IT Security, Legal, and Compliance, acting as a key point of contact for vendor-related risk matters.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
* Leading risk assessment and due diligence activities for new and existing suppliers.
* Overseeing ongoing monitoring of vendors, including critical and high-risk third parties.
* Supporting audits and regulatory reviews related to vendor management.
* Maintaining policies, procedures, and training materials related to third party risk.
* Partnering with contract owners to ensure compliance with frameworks and policies.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
* Experience in risk management, compliance, procurement governance or audit within a regulated environment.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
* Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory expectations is a distinct advantage.
