Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cashel. Duties to include:
* Perform routine inspections of the hotel premises, identifying and addressing maintenance issues promptly
* Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks across various areas, including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC
* Respond efficiently to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment
* Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to hotel operations
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting
* Proficiency in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC systems
* Strong knowledge of safety protocols relevant to hotel maintenance
* Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Basic computer skills for using maintenance management systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong organisational abilities and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays
