Engineering Service Coordinator
Our client, a well-established engineering provider supporting commercial, industrial, and residential customers across the west of Ireland, is seeking an organised and proactive Service Coordinator to join their growing Galway team.
This is a key position supporting daily field operations, ensuring service engineers are scheduled efficiently and customer requests are handled with professionalism and urgency.
About the Role
The Service Coordinator will act as the central point of communication between customers, engineers, and management. You’ll manage incoming service requests, plan engineer workloads, track job progress, and ensure documentation is completed accurately. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and dispatch HVAC service engineers for planned and reactive call-outs.
* Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer queries, ensuring timely responses.
* Coordinate maintenance visits, breakdown support, and installation appointments.
* Track job progress, update internal systems, and maintain accurate service records.
* Work closely with procurement to arrange parts, materials, and follow-up visits.
* Prepare service quotes, reports, and completion documentation.
* Assist with contract management, service agreements, and compliance tracking.
* Support the service manager with day‑to‑day operational tasks.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Strong administrative or coordination background, ideally in a technical or service‑based environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and remain calm in a busy scheduling environment.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of learning new systems quickly.
* Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
Desirable:
* Experience in HVAC, mechanical services, facilities management, or engineering support.
* Knowledge of service scheduling software or ERP systems.
* Familiarity with maintenance workflows, permits, or compliance documentation.

* Salary from €35,000 to €45,000 depending on experience
* Monday to Friday
* 9am – 5pm
