Drama Instructor (Part-Time) – Compassvale Secondary School
Employer: GoalSetterz Business SolutionsWork Location: Compassvale Secondary SchoolContract Period: 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027 (or from the date of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance, whichever is later)
Option Period: 1 August 2027 to 31 July 2029
GoalSetterz Business Solutions is looking for a passionate and experienced Drama Instructor to conduct and lead the school's Drama Club CCA programme at Compassvale Secondary School.
Training Schedule
CCA Days: Wednesday and Friday(excluding public holidays, school holidays, and CCA stand-down periods)
Training Hours:
Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Additional training sessions may be required for key events such as:
CCA Open House
Singapore Youth Festival (SYF)
Performing Arts Showcase
Values-in-Action (VIA) Programmes
Teachers' Day Concert
International Science Drama Competition
Other school-related performances and events

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Design and implement a developmentally appropriate 30-week Drama training programme in consultation with the Teacher-in-Charge.
Develop students' passion for Drama while nurturing positive values and character.
Effectively manage and motivate students to work collaboratively.
Guide students in scriptwriting and script development with student participation.
Prepare students for performances, competitions, and showcases, including SYF and non-SYF events.
Support students participating in multiple concurrent events and performances.
Commit to the full contract duration and provide continuity in instruction.
Where possible, expose students to external learning opportunities such as theatre performances, industry visits, community engagement projects, and collaborations with other schools.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE) as an instructor.
Possess a Diploma in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a related field.
Preferably have a minimum of 2 years of coaching experience with a Secondary School Drama Club.
Strong classroom and student management skills.
Ability to develop scripts, direct performances, and mentor students effectively.
Passionate about youth development through the performing arts.
