This property is a standout in the local market — a flagship within a respected hotel group — offering a balanced mix of business and leisure trade. Midweek sees strong corporate demand, while weekends attract a loyal leisure clientele, including families, couples, and local guests. With an impressive conference and banqueting footprint, a popular restaurant and bar, leisure facilities including a gym and pool, and a well-regarded spa, the hotel caters to a broad and dynamic audience.
As the General Manager (or Managing Director, depending on the candidate's experience and profile), you will oversee all aspects of the operation — commercial, guest experience, team culture, and strategic direction — ensuring continued growth and excellence in a highly competitive market. You will also be an integral part of the broader leadership team within the hotel group, contributing to group-wide initiatives and standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* A proven track record in senior hotel leadership, ideally within upscale or branded environments
* Strong commercial acumen and experience in driving revenue and profitability
* A collaborative, people-focused leadership style with a passion for developing high-performing teams
* A hands-on approach balanced with strategic thinking
* Experience in managing multifunctional operations (M&E, Spa, Leisure, F&B, Rooms)
* EU/UK work eligibility and openness to relocation to Cork
