A leading construction firm is seeking a skilled Design Coordinator to join its building team for an exciting new educational project in Limerick. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in managing and coordinating the design process from concept through construction on a high-profile Department of Education project.
**Job Description:**
The Design Coordinator will actively engage with the Design & Build (D+B) design team and stakeholders in a structured, process-driven manner. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and issuing Minimum Technical Submissions (MTS) to the client and associated technical bodies.
* Ensuring compliance of all submissions with relevant government requirements and contract documentation.
* Overseeing the design teams submissions via Autodesk Construction Cloud.
* Verifying subcontractor and supplier submissions include current documentation.
* Tracking and completing the design-related sections of the bi-weekly Contractors Progress Reports.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
Applicants should possess a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in a design coordination or senior engineering role on medium to large projects. Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar design management platforms is essential. Prior experience on educational or large commercial projects is desirable.
