Job Description:
The Technical Sales Manager at Failte Solar bridges the gap between commercial sales and engineering expertise. This role is responsible for supporting sales with deep product knowledge, designing solutions that meet installer and end-user needs, and providing technical guidance pre- and post-sale. The ideal candidate is both technically competent and customer-focused, capable of building trust with installers, electrical contractors, and commercial clients while supporting internal teams in delivering solar energy solutions.
* Solution Design & Consultation: Support sales and account teams by designing solar system layouts that advise on product selection for residential projects
The ideal candidate has prior experience in solar systems design, excellent communication skills to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical clients,
Familiarity with CRM systems (Odoo or similar), layout tools (e.g., PV*SOL), monitoring platforms
The candidate will be working closely with Procurement Directors to feedback emerging needs through collaboration.
Able to work independently travelling across Ireland as needed Full clean driver's licence required
