Contract: Permanent (Full or part-time)
Shift Pattern: Out of Hours (Nights)
The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for residents to the highest professional and ethical standards.
Role Responsibilities:
* Mentoring and training of Staff Nurses and Healthcare Assistants
* Quality of Care Responsibilities
* Day to day supervision of the care and nursing staff
* Co-ordinate resident activities
* Work within HIQA regulations
* Act as Nurse in Charge for designated units / shifts
* Any other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing
Candidate Requirements:
* NMBI Registered
* Excellent Clinical, Leadership and Organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Sound decision making ability
* An interest in care of the elderly
