Join a growing Tax Operations team within a leading global financial services organisation, as one of the first tax professionals based in Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across international offices, contribute to core U.S. tax processes, and play a key part in building out local tax operations.

We’re seeking a motivated and analytical tax professional with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Onsite requirement: This role is fully office-based (5 days per week) in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor and analyze tax implications of corporate actions (e.g., mergers, tender offers) and communicate findings to business partners.
* Prepare and/or review U.S. withholding tax reporting and end-of-period close processes.
* Track and assess investment-related tax exposures, including U.S. trade or business income considerations.
* Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Finance teams to mitigate potential tax risks impacting investors.
* Manage and review U.S. tax documentation (e.g., Forms W-9, W-8IMY), FATCA/CRS certifications, and FATCA registrations.
* Prepare and/or review sales tax, property tax, and related filings, including refund claims and audit support.
* Contribute to FBAR reporting, ASC 740 analysis, and IRC Section 163(j) reviews to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
* Support R&D tax credit calculations and Section 174 compliance.
* Drive process improvements and contribute to tax automation and efficiency initiatives.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and business leaders to deliver accurate, value-adding tax insights.
* Assist with management reporting, helping enhance tax transparency and business decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

* 3+ years’ experience in tax, accounting, or finance, ideally within public accounting or financial services/asset management.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
* U.S. tax experience strongly preferred.
* Proven self-starter able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Experience collaborating with global or remote teams across time zones.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, client-service mindset.
* Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working with data and reporting tools.
