Children's Disability Services Psychologist
We are seeking a highly skilled Children's Disability Services Psychologist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people facing complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges.
About the Role:
As a Children's Disability Services Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents
* Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement care plans
* Provide clinical supervision and support to team members and trainee psychologists
* Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology, validated by the Dept of Health in Ireland. You will also need to have minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting and be eligible for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
You should have strong assessment and therapeutic skills across a variety of clinical presentations and experience supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs. Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
