Job Title: Project Manager - Medical Devices/Project Readiness Lead
Location: Castletroy, Limerick IRL V94 6R68
Duration: 12 months
Comment:
* Project Readiness Lead. Onsite role. Lots of new projects - e.g Putting in 5 new production lines.
* Some bit of technical knowledge would be needed.
* The project engineering team will put those on the ground and validation and all other functions will feed in to that.
* Project Readiness then ensures that anything that is not attached to that line is set up, e.g setting up SAP numbers etc, raw materials.
* BOMs and SKUs etc .
* Ancillary equipment, a lot of dealing with procurement.
* A lot of pro-active stuff needed - Personality - strong character, everybody you deal with is not reporting into this team, will be chasing them to complete work etc.
* Person is driving the SMEs to make sure they are 'ready' for when the line goes into production.
* The follow FPX with client - PM methodology.
* Someone who has medical device or experience in that industry.
* Some form of quality background too.
* Manage raw materials for the projects too. Need to see some Project Management, more that just Engineering based work experience.
* Needs to be energetic and a go-getter', has a few years PM experience and really understands dealing with an chasing/building relationships with people - some people leader experience would also work.
Responsibilities:
Main areas of responsibility:
* Manage Project Readiness deliverables through the cross functional teams for medium to large scale projects involving either new or existing equipment
* Manage an effective communication chain between Project Readiness team and main Project Leader/Sponsor
* Assist in determining the budget to support requirements
* Propose options to Management/Customer/Stakeholders
* Be able to identify and escalate any risks or roadblocks, including having mitigations in place to ensure delivery of all Project Readiness milestones
* Utilize necessary project tools to manage projects successfully, e.g., Microsoft Project, FPX etc.
* Apply strong Technical Writing skills to produce clear, detailed documentation, procedures, and reports, which may include standalone technical writing tasks as needed to support Project activities and compliance."
