Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our sales team.
About the Role:
* Manage a portfolio of existing customers, developing and maintaining strong relationships to drive business growth
* Perform sales administration activities, including generating quotations, order processing, and sourcing
* Conduct regular customer visits to identify new business opportunities and develop incremental revenue streams
* Identify, develop, and target new prospects through cold calling and other lead generation techniques
* Collaborate with the sales team to achieve company-wide sales objectives and profitability targets
Key Responsibilities:
1. To manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customer accounts
2. To generate new sales leads and convert them into revenue-generating opportunities
3. To perform administrative tasks such as data entry, email management, and report writing
4. To work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and expectations
5. To maintain accurate records and provide timely updates on sales performance and progress
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in account management or sales within the chemicals industry
* Strong network across industrial sectors in Ireland, with a focus on the food, construction, and industrial sectors
* Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Fast learner with a can-do attitude and a passion for driving business growth
