Sr Cloud Engineer in Ireland
This role sits at the heart of a fast‑scaling cloud platform focused on next‑generation AI‑driven workflow orchestration. You will design and operate the core cloud infrastructure and power a highly distributed, global SaaS product. Accountabilities
Designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure and platform systems
Building and maintaining multi‑region, highly available architectures
Operating and optimizing Kubernetes‑based workloads using managed services like Azure Kubernetes Service
Strengthening infrastructure security, hardening, and resilience practices
Developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for repeatable and governed deployments
Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and reliability risks proactively
Participating in on‑call rotations and KTLO (keep‑the‑lights‑on) operations
Collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams on platform evolution
Requirements
Proven experience designing and operating production cloud infrastructure
Strong Kubernetes expertise, including managed services (AKS, EKS, or GKE)
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform
Security‑first mindset with experience building hardened cloud systems
Experience with large‑scale, high‑availability distributed systems
Strong architectural judgment and ability to evaluate technical trade‑offsHands‑on, problem‑solving mindset with a growth‑oriented approach
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
Nice to have
Networking fundamentals (routing, connectivity, architecture patterns)
Kubernetes networking experience (ingress, service meshes, tunneling)
