Responsibilities
* Create detailed technical drawings for windows and doors based on architectural designs.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to determine project requirements.
* Ensure all designs comply with building codes and regulations.
* Select appropriate materials and products that enhance the design and functionality.
* Assist in the preparation of project specifications and documentation.
* Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and take measurements.
* Provide technical support to team members and clients regarding window and door systems.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
* Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
* Strong understanding of building codes and standards related to windows and doors.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Experience in window and door design or construction is an asset.
