Your Role
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles to the highest standard within the scheduled times.
To support the Customer Service Journey by keeping Service Advisors updated on the vehicle status and provide them with technical guidance when needed.
Your Team
You will be an integral part of the Aftersales Team closely working with both Service and Parts personnel and directly reporting into the Aftersales Manger.
Responsibilities
Service and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacture instructions and guidelines
Ability to diagnose, test and repair faults
Follow company guidance on all health and safety matters
Support the development of apprentices through on-the-job coaching
Work closely with the Service and Parts department to communicate additional parts, vehicle repair status etc.
Perform vehicle and hybrid battery health checks in line with guidelines
Participate in the Toyota Training Programme
Technical write-ups for retail and warranty work
Skills and Experience
Qualified Technician with 2+ years' experience
Toyota experience is desirable but not essential
Exposure to EV/Hybrid vehicles is an advantage
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Qualifications & Requirements
National apprentice qualification or equivalent
Full, valid, clean driving licence
Knowledge and awareness of workshop health and safety practices
