Job Title: Urgent Service Representative
This role is for a highly skilled and experienced individual who will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading water treatment equipment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 35 years experience working with pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
* Service, maintain, and repair water treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
* Troubleshoot issues on-site or over the phone to minimize downtime and resolve problems promptly.
* Set up and commission new systems and complete related reports to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
* Calibrate and validate equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Train customers and colleagues on system use to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
* Keep accurate records and complete service reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Spot and report any sales or upgrade opportunities to contribute to business growth and development.
* Take part in on-call rotation to provide support and ensure seamless operation.
Requirements:
* Educated to a high standard with electrical qualifications and a minimum of 35 years experience working with pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
* Proficient in reading basic electrical and mechanical diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues.
* Experience with control panels, PLCs, and automation systems to ensure seamless integration and operation.
* Familiarity with the water treatment industry to stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends.
* Confident working independently and directly with customers to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional results.
* Excellent computer skills (Windows) to effectively utilize software and tools to streamline processes and improve productivity.
* Valid drivers license to travel between job sites and operate company vehicles safely.
* Flexible with work hours, including occasional out-of-hours or short-notice jobs to accommodate changing business needs.
