The Role
We're seeking an In-House Motor Assessor to join our team, responsible for assessing motor damage and supporting the end-to-end claims process.
This is a technical role involving:
Desktop motor damage assessments
Third-party insurer outlay reviews
Vehicle valuation reviews
Quality assurance oversight
Salvage management
Technical support to the wider claims team
You will take ownership of assigned cases, make decisions within your delegated authority, and contribute to delivering a seamless and professional claims experience.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Cherrywood, Dublin office.
Key Responsibilities
Manage your own portfolio of files from assessment through to final resolution
Apply technical expertise and sound judgement to achieve fair, cost-effective outcomes
Work collaboratively with internal teams to progress claims efficiently
Identify and escalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate
Support fraud identification through technical insight and industry knowledge
Provide technical guidance and assistance to claims advisors
What We're Looking For
A relevant technical motor qualification is desirable but not essential; equivalent hands-on industry experience will also be considered.
Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar motor damage or insurance environment
Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
A proactive, solution-focused mindset
Confidence in decision-making and taking ownership of outcomes
A collaborative team player who thrives in a growing environment
