An Irish SME organisation in Maynooth, Kildare is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant/Finance Manager to join for an 18 month interim contract. This is a hands on Accounting role which will required a strong understanding of day to day running of the business. Salary range is €70,000 - €75,000 and need someone for an August start date. Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly Management Accounts. Monitor and report on revenue performance and cost margin of each department on a monthly basis. Monitor KPIs of each department and communicate accordingly. Liaise with company auditors on the preparation of audited accounts. All Revenue Returns to include PAYE, VAT, Intrastat, Vies, etc. All statutory returns and forms. Completion of vehicle sales processing. Supervision of Credit Control/Debtor Control on a regular basis. Ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivable. Taking ownership on fixed asset register Key requirements of the Finance Manager Accountancy qualifcation Previous experience in the role of financial accountant is essential. Strong computer analytical skills including the full suite of Microsoft products. Willingness to assist in other areas when required to do so. Applicants must have a proven track record in financial administration. Strict attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft suite) (We use AutoView as our DMS). Proactive approach and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be highly organised with efficient time management. Be able to work as part of a team and should possess good interpersonal & people management skills.
