Site Fitter – Bespoke Furniture & Joinery (Cork & Kerry)
Company: Holbein Carpentry and Joinery, Kenmare, Co Kerry
Holbein Carpentry and Joinery Ltd is a high‑end manufacturing company specialising in bespoke kitchens, staircases, wardrobes, internal joinery, and entrance doors. Following a major expansion of our workshop facilities, we are developing a range of premium standardised product lines alongside our bespoke offering and are enhancing our team.
We’re looking for an experienced Site Fitter to join our growing, progressive team delivering high‑end bespoke furniture, kitchens, and architectural joinery projects across Cork and Kerry.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys problem‑solving on site, and can work closely with clients, trades, and our workshop team to bring exceptional projects to life.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret manufacturing and technical drawings
Install bespoke furniture, kitchens, and joinery to a high standard
Coordinate and plan installations on site
Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and trades
Complete snagging and final finishing works
Support the workshop team when required
Requirements
Proven experience fitting bespoke furniture and joinery
Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
Excellent communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Full clean driving licence
Ideally based in South Kerry, within reasonable travel distance of Cork or Kerry
Be physically fit and highly motivated
Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Safe Pass, Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheel training are mandatory
Fluent in English both verbal and written
